Everything You Want to Know
Use & clean your LastTissue
Using the tissue is easy-sneezy. For the pack, take the tissue out of the bottom, use it, and put it back into the case from the top. A barrier keeps your used and clean tissues separate and hygienic.
For the box, take the clean tissue out from the top, use it, and put it back into the box in the bottom compartment. The box also has a hygienic separator.
When it’s time to clean the tissues, put them in the laundry and the case plus the barrier in the dish washer. Fold the tissues and put them back into the case when they are dry and clean.
Materials & Packaging
The tissues are made of GOTS certified organic cotton. The manufacturing process is much kinder to the planet without compromising on the feeling. They can be experienced as slightly thicker than other handkerchiefs, but this means they will last a very long time. You can wash them over 520 times each!
The case is made from high-quality silicone that is completely free from toxins and BPA. When you wash it, it will not shed any nasties into the water system.
The packaging is made from Cradle to Cradle certified cardboard. The ink used to print is so safe that the residual water can go out into nature without causing any harm. You can even lick the box, if you feel inclined to do so.
Sustainability & Footprint
LastTissue is a true little environment champion. Each pack replaces 3.100+ and each box replaces 9.000+ single-use tissues. After only 72 uses, the entire carbon footprint (CO2) of LastTissue is lower than single-use paper tissues. They are 8.2 times better than single-use paper tissues considering all 22 environmental impact categories.
LastTissue reduces CO2 by 86%, water consumption by 68%, land use by 87%, and primary energy demand by 80%.

Care for your LastTissue
Your tissues will last for about 510 washes each, while the case can last even longer. You can find refills here. In total, the LastTissue Pack will replace about 3.100+ single-use tissues, and the LastTissue Box can replace as many as 9.000+ tissues.
Wash your tissues in the washing machine. The lower the temperature, the better for the environment. To make it easier, use a Laundry Bag. Your case can get its own little spa-session in your dishwasher.
Design & manufacturing
LastTissue is designed and developed in the land of Vikings, delicious baked goods and incredible design, Denmark. It is manufactured responsibly in China.
Product measurements
The tissues measure 19x19 cm or 7 x 7''.
The LastTissue Pack measures 11 x 5,5 x 2,5 cm or 4.3 x 2.2 x 1''.
The LastTissue Box measures 20,5 x 4,5x 11 cm or 8.1 x 1.8 x 4.3''
Product Case
The case is made of high-quality, BPA-free silicone. Silicone of low quality can shed particles which end up in nature. The higher standard ensures no smaller pieces or particles can break off and contaminate the environment. It also helps keep your tissues hygienic as it can be washed in the washing machine.
The barrier in the middle moves as you use your tissues, so that you always can keep your fresh and dirty tissues apart. The barriers can also be put into the dishwasher.
End of product & recycling
When your LastTissue silicone case is no longer usable, it should be cut into pieces and sent in with the Pact Collective Recycling program (US/Canada). For other countries, see how your local recycling facilities prefer what you do with silicone.
The organic cotton tissues can be recycled with textiles.
The cardboard packaging can enjoy a new life when you recycle it with cardboard.
Single-use products & alternatives
Tissues are a big environmental problem. The manufacturing process is a real culprit of environmental damage with trees being cut down, water and energy being used, and bleaches and chemicals being involved in the making of the tissues. Nasty!
By using just one tissue from your LastTissue Pack or Box, you save nature from 510+ single-use tissues.
Lifecycle analysis & breaking even
LastTissue is 8.2 times better than single-use paper tissues considering all 22 environmental impact categories. That really shows how much single use-ing blows! After only 72 uses, the entire carbon footprint (CO2) of LastTissue is lower than single-use paper tissues.
LastTissue reduces CO2 by 86%, water consumption by 68%, land use by 87%, and primary energy demand by 80%.
Vegan & cruelty-free
LastTissue is completely vegan and we don't test on animals. We know you, just like us, would like to see the world become a little greener and a little kinder, so that all animals (on four legs, two legs, or no legs) can live happy lives.
Silicone Case
Silicone is a durable material that is more ocean-friendly than plastic. The LastTissue case can last a lifetime, if you're a cat, but you can recycle it at its end of life. If for any reason it's not recycled, but thrown out and incinerated at a waste facility, silicone reverts back into its harmless ingredients: amorphous silica, carbon dioxide, and water vapor.
